The Butterfly Lounge is a community space created for trans folx, partners, and allies to build meaningful connection, celebrate queer joy, and gather in a warm, affirming environment. This is a place where everyone is invited to show up fully and authentically — just as they are meant to be.

Inspired by the gynandromorph butterfly, a rare and beautiful being that carries both male and female characteristics, the Butterfly Lounge honors the blend of our identities and the truth that we are each whole, complex, and spectacular humans.

The organizers of the event are Shay and Kristi, a trans/queer couple who see a need for more queer safe spaces, community and friends. Gatherings are created to be a loving, warm space for you to show up as and who you are. There is no cost to attend and you can participate however you want if you just want to soak up the love & joy or want to share your story, everyone is welcome!)
