Practitioners: The Hidden Revenue Ceiling in Private Practice

HOSTED BY KRISTEN HINMAN AND DR. MICHELLE MATTINGLY

A community roundtable on building income that isn’t tied to more appointments.

If you run a practice or work directly with patients or clients and have ever wondered how to grow income without growing your schedule, this conversation will be worth your time.

In this conversation we’ll explore:

• Why many successful practitioners eventually hit a revenue ceiling
• The structural reason private practice income plateaus
• Why working harder rarely solves the problem long term
• The concept of installing a revenue layer inside an existing practice
• How practitioners are leveraging the trust they’ve already built
• A simple model that doesn’t require becoming a content creator or launching a second business

Who This Is For

This event is designed for practitioners who work directly with patients or clients, including:

• naturopathic doctors
• chiropractors
• functional medicine providers
• nurse practitioners
• aesthetic and wellness providers
• therapists and holistic practitioners
• practice owners and clinic founders

If your income currently depends on your time in the treatment room, this conversation will likely resonate.

Most practitioners don’t struggle because they aren’t good at what they do.

They struggle because the business model of private practice has limits.

There are only so many hours in a day.
Only so many appointments you can take.
Only so much energy you can give.

Eventually, growth stops feeling like expansion and starts feeling like pressure.

This talk explores what practitioners can do before that pressure turns into burnout.

Over the past several years I’ve worked closely with practitioners and practice owners and began noticing a pattern.

Some practitioners were quietly installing additional revenue layers into their practices ones that didn’t depend on seeing more patients.

When done correctly, these systems allow practitioners to:

• continue doing the work they love
• support patients in a new way
• and grow income without expanding their schedule

This event explores how that model works.

with GUEST SPEAKER: Dr Michelle Mattingly, ND, LAc

Dr. Michelle is a Naturopathic Doctor trained in both naturopathic and Classical Chinese medicine, with a clinical approach rooted in treating the whole person and addressing the root cause of dysfunction.

Her work integrates nutrition, herbal medicine, and physical modalities such as acupuncture to support the body’s natural ability to heal, regulate, and restore balance. She is especially known for helping patients improve systemic function, reduce inflammation, and support long-term recovery through individualized care.

Her perspective reinforces something essential: That patient trust is built through results, education, and integrity, and when done well, creates a deeper level of relationship that extends beyond the treatment room.
